Raised in the rural mountains of the Shenandoah Valley, Annie Dongoski uses her hometown of Front Royal, Virginia as the focus of her architectural photography. At the age of fourteen, she began her career in film photography. While digital photography is progressing today, she continues working with film to capture the details of architecture. She is greatly influenced by photographer Stephen Shore where Dongoski applies Shore’s process of color film to create soft and subtle photographs of buildings. She is a graduate of Radford University’s class of 2018, with a B.F.A in photography. She is a member of the National Society for Photographic Education. Her work has been featured in galleries in Radford, Virginia and Strasburg, Virginia.
